QSL cards, simplified.

QSL cards are “the final courtesy of a QSO,” but they can be a pain to send; you have to order them, store them, individually fill them out and mail them, which is always a task you’ll do “sometime soon.” I understand; I’ve been more than five thousand cards behind. (In fact, that’s why I set this up.)

QSL.is is a better way. We take your logs, print as many QSL cards as you need, fill them in, and mail them for you. One card is good for up to four contacts, with no overlapping labels or other hacks. Just want to send QSL cards for special contacts? QSL.is can help you. Want different QSL cards for every POTA or SOTA activation? Not a problem! Special event stations, mobile stations with many locations that change over time, you name it, we’re happy to support it. We also don’t have minimum print runs, so you don’t need to order more cards than necessary for one-time events! We also host your QSL cards, for as long as we’re around, so that your recipients can verify that they’re really from you via a handy QR code. (If they don’t use QR codes that’s fine! Nothing extra is hidden there, it’s just a way we’ve found to replace the “verified” stamp some hams use.)

How do I get it?

At the moment, QSL.is is a personal project of K3QB. However, we’re soliciting interest in opening this to other hams; to keep informed, sign up for our mailing list below!

Potential Pricing

Right now, the plan is $1/QSL, or $2.25/QSL when sending to stations outside the US. This isn’t a guarantee, but we think we can swing it—and if you add up the costs of a stamp, card printing, labels, and the mess of getting a batch of cards ready to go out, we think it’s pretty competitive.
